No Guns No Money cards do work
« on: January 13, 2014, 11:51:38 AM »
Someone shared a success story with me recently I wanted to share here.

Several folks carry the "No Guns No Money" cards with them in their wallet.  One such person had to purchase parts for his job at Logan Supply in Omaha. This person told the guy behind the counter they were lucky that there was no other place to purchase the parts he needed because of the No Guns sign on the entrance.  He calmly handed the manager one of the cards and said "read it slowly and let it sink in for a minute".  After a brief conversation the manager walked over to the front door and took the No Guns sign down.

I have not been over to Logan to verify the sign is still down, but it sounded like there was a realization of what these signs do to create an unsafe environment for both employees and customers.  I'm pleased to hear stories where a calm discussion used in conjunction with these cards result in a positive change.

Anyone know where I can buy a stack of the cards? I'm guessing that there are many versions?

I have a bunch at my shop in LaVista.  We usually have them at various functions too. (like them monthly breakfast).

I will have a box at the NFOA Day @ the Legislature.

Also, Rick posted a link to a file to print your own.

I know huskersforever hands them out too.  He had some printed up and gave me a stack.  I hand them out at CHP classes (along the the NFOA brochure... which I'm running low on) to anyone that wants them.  Have had quite a few takers.
The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried.

Rod I need to make it into your store and introduce myself. I was at the annual meeting, but had just joined and didn't k ow a single person there. I also had planned to go to the last morning meeting but my wife got a flat tire and that put the kibash on those plans. I'll get some of those cards from you too and would be interested with any other NFOA swag you might have laying around.

FIFY.  and he's a cool guy.  don't just stop at the NFOA swag, buy a suppressor while you're at it.

I plan on it, but the only way I could swing it would be to sell off some of my collection and ammo stash.

I found the file and printed up a batch for myself. I always have a few in my billfold.
