Anyone care to contemplate on the purpose of specifically listing, by type, make and model, guns that are not covered by the ban?

Why is almost every rifle used for hunting listed under the "Sniper Bolt Action Rifles" section?

Something smells fishy.

I don't think this is the real list. It lists pretty much every gun ever made.

"Feinstein noted her proposal exempts from the ban more than 2,000 models used for hunting or sporting purposes.  They are by make and model exempted from the legislation, she said, adding that the old ban had 375 such exemptions.  Those exemptions were an apparent effort to garner support for the measure from conservative Democrats and others expected to face fierce lobbying by the NRA and constituents."

More of her $hite at the link.  Sorry lady, it don't hold water.......

Mini-14s are okay as long as they don't have a folding stock? Passing over that remarkably stupid distinction, how are these okay but AR's are bad? Because they totally aren't the same caliber, or take 30 round (EVIL DETACHABLE) magazines. That's just crazy talk.

All she's doing is throwing up smoke screens, folks.  Don't forget, her real  intention is to confiscate them all (with exemptions for her and her Congressional buddies, of course), even when she lies about wanting to  do it...

Continue to pray that there are enough Republicans, Democrats and  Independents with enough brains and courage to HONOR their oath  of office to SUPPORT and DEFEND the Constitution...  ALL of it.

There's footage somewhere of an interview she gave Schieffer about how by collapsing the stock on an AR you make it capable of fully auto fire.  Whose sick joke was it to put this woman on the senate Intelligence Committee? :o

Smokescreen might just be right (read this and decide for yourself)

Quote
The problem on page 13:
All semi-autos are outlawed, not just some.

Pro-rights and anti-rights attention has been focused on the tremendous list of guns that would be banned under Feinstein’s bill, which takes up a significant portion of the 122 pages of this proposal.

Here’s the problem none of the “news” reports have spotted:

The list of guns doesn’t matter.
Magazine size doesn’t matter.
If the semi-auto firearm has anything to grip it by, it is banned.
It’s very clever actually.
According to the bill, any semiautomatic firearm that uses a magazine — handgun, rifle or shotgun — equipped with a “pistol grip,” would be banned. That sounds like a limitation, but it is not.

Maybe she is looking to take them now rather then later

My question is, why does the person who tries the hardest to ban 'evil' guns, looks like the most evil person I have ever seen?
