Picked up a G17 today
« on: February 05, 2013, 12:34:52 AM »
Found a used G17 at scheels yesterday.  Asked the salesman if I could take a look and field stripped it to find that o so pretty copper colored lubricant still on the rails.  Came with 3 17 round magazines and a 31 round magazine??? Also came with glock night sights installed, which I had never seen in the dark before, pretty cool.  580 plus tax, which I didn't think was too bad.  If anyone is interested in trading a couple G17 mags for S&W M&P9 17 round mags, let me know.

Coming from Scheels in today's gouge environment you got a fair deal.  Should be a 33 round magazine.

That's what I thought.  Just checked the price on CTD for 33 round glock magazines, $190 lol.

A blessing in disguise....put the 33 rounder on gunbroker to pay for some of your gun and then you got a real good deal.  Besides how practical is the 33 ...and talk about your "printing" :)

Gen 3?
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

Pretty sure only for the Zombies. His normal is Production Class, so 10 rounds in mag at start.

I love extended mags. If you dont need the cash I would hold onto it. They may be hard to find after awhile.

O I won't be getting rid of it anytime soon. My local firearms store had some in stock yesterday. At 180 bucks a piece I know why they still have them. They had 17 round magazines as well for 80 a piece. Needless to say I am glad I have several 17 rd and the one 33 rd.  I and am not in the market for any more at those prices.
